PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is a treatment that uses plasma obtained from a person's own blood. After undergoing various processes, it helps in cell regeneration and the healing of damaged tissues. How is PRP applied?

Before PRP treatment, healthcare professionals take a sample of blood from the patient. This blood is then processed in a sterile environment and prepared for injection. This plasma, rich in platelets (blood cells), is injected into the designated area. It is crucial that PRP treatment be performed under the supervision of a qualified doctor. The procedure takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Depending on the duration of the PRP effect, 3-4 sessions are continued at intervals of 2-4 weeks.

What is the process after PRP treatment?

The effects of PRP treatment, which is used to repair damaged tissues and regenerate cells in the skin, are seen quickly. Brightening and tightening of the skin are observed. Redness may occur on the patient's skin after PRP application. This is normal and the redness will disappear within a few days. For 7 days after PRP treatment, blood-thinning medications should not be used, saunas and Turkish baths should be avoided for 2 days, and smoking and alcohol should be avoided for at least 3 days. Especially after PRP treatment on the face, care should be taken to avoid using makeup for the period determined by the doctor.
